COMPANY POFILE, DESCRIPTION, AND SCOPE OF ROLE\\n\\nProviding bespoke product solutions extensively within Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and other Industrial environments, with potential to explore additional markets e.g., Renewables, food & beverage, datacentres etc. Our client is a global business and a world class leader in their field, and have been established for over sixty years.\\n\\nJoining a dynamic and successful team, you will be responsible for helping to strengthening and develop the commercial side the business, developing key accounts, and maintaining long-term relationships built on mutual trust Your customer mix will consist of end users, Engineering Contractors, Installation system integrators and Distributors. You will spend a large proportion of your time engaging in customer facing and site visits.

Consideration may be given to accomplished senior sales engineers, depending on experience and sector.\\n\\nNB: Travel / Region: The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel Nationally and to stay over-night, typically 2 or 3 times a month (There will be an element of Hybrid / Home working / Flexibility). *** Typically travelling out from home to meet customers (A1 Corridor) 4 days meeting customers / 1 day at home / planning / catch up. (There will be occasional visits as and when necessary to the North East based office).

Your region will extend to East/Central Scotland in the North and as far South as Great Yarmouth\\n\\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\\n\\n * Acquire and develop new customers and key accounts\\n\\n * Conduct customer analysis to define potential opportunities\\n\\n * Identify new opportunities. Develop plans to maximise sales of products, systems and services (solutions)\\n\\n * Find technical solutions within company capabilities and communicate them effectively with the Customer\\n\\n * Maintain and develop customer relations for long term relationships based on mutual trust\\n\\n * Manage customer expectations and enhance the customer experience resulting in sales\\n\\n * Conduct negotiations, help prepare quotations, assist in preparing contracts\\n\\n * Communicate, when needed, with the Customer during execution time of a (project) order\\n\\n * Provide competitor analysis and market monitoring, analyses market trends. Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products, systems and pricing\\n\\n * Prepare sales reports on a regular basis and provide feedback\\n\\n * Communicate new product developments to (prospective) customers\\n\\n * Assist, where needed, to reach a satisfactory solution to a Customer complaint\\n\\n * Follow up projects and quotations and register in relevant systems\\n\\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND REQUIREMENTS:\\n\\n * A recognised electrical / mechanical engineering/technical qualification (Preferred but not essential)\\n\\n * Demonstrable experience of solutions selling / Technical Sales / Engineering Sales\\n\\n * At least three years’ work experience in a technical and/or industrial sector, preferably selling process / environmental heating solutions into industrial, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical clients, or other sectors\\n\\n * Experience providing Hazardous environment /ATEX products/services and solutions would be advantageous\\n\\n * Valid driving license\\n\\n * Good negotiation & communication skills\\n\\n * Ability to create and maintain sales contacts on all levels\\n\\n * Ability to manage the sales process and interact with technical sales support\\n\\n * Attention to detail, ability to work in a team but also able to work independently\\n\\n * Ability to produce appropriately detailed and accurate quotations and pricing\\n\\n * Strong commercial skills and technical background\\n\\n * Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) capabilities\\n\\n * Fluent in English\\n\\n * Independent, self-motivated, team player\\n\\n * Able to effectively communicate on all levels, internal and external\\n\\nNB: Knowledge / experience gained within Industrial Heating Solutions / Trace heating or Process and Environmental heating solutions would be an advantage\\n\\nDETAILS OF SALARY / PACKAGE:\\n\\nBasic Salary From £45,000 to £60,000 PA (Depending on exp) + Bonus (OT 20%/30% negotiable + Car or Allowance + Laptop + phone + Pension + Health care + 27 days Holiday + Statutory Holidays
