KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup & Run: Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Technical Reading: Interpret blueprints, design models, and engineering drawings.
- Process Control: Load materials and adjust machine settings (speeds, feeds, cut paths) for optimal output.
- Quality & Inspection: Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools; maintain quality records.
- Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Strictly follow H&S rules, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience: Proven track record as a CNC Machine Setter/Operator.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres).
