CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE Our client is a world class, multi award-winning, well-established manufacturing business, with strong and sustained investment in people, capital and plant. They produce specialist products and are an acknowledged international leader in terms of size and technical capabilities. Due to continued growth they’re seeking They are currently recruiting for a CNC / Manual Miller to run / operate various milling machines to produce components including dies and machine parts. NB: This role will start on Day shift, and will move to an Early/Late shift rotation (Pay rates / Hours below) KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Programming, setting, and operating 3 axis Milling machines. (Doosan) * Programming, setting and operating conventional XYZ milling machine. * Tool repair and maintenance. * Manufacturing tooling for use in compression and injection moulding to high tolerances. * Manufacturing Carrier plate assemblies. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES ESSENTIAL * Time served apprenticeship in relevant Engineering discipline. * Demonstrable experience in the manufacture of High-quality Milled components. * Experience working with Jigs, fixtures and various work holding devices. * Extensive Knowledge of Tooling (inserts/speeds/feeds) * Ability to program Doosan machines with * Abiliy to programme Fanuc * Can read and interpret Engineering drawings. * Working to tight tolerances and timelines.
