Asset Alliance Group (AAG) is a subsidiary of Arbuthnot Latham which has been associated with Banking since 1833. AAG serves the commercial vehicle, bus, coach, and general asset finance sectors with tailored award-winning lending, contract hire, rental and finance packages. It is a full-service finance and leasing business.
Asset Operations Assistants are required to assist with the day-to-day preparations of vehicles/assets including preparation of used sales stock and maintaining a rental line, with an expectation of engaging with both customers and colleagues, to ensure we achieve an optimum sales stock and rental fleet utilisation.
- In-Checks: Greet customers or agencies returning rental or used sales vehicles. Conduct thorough check-in inspections, documenting all relevant asset information. Capture and record any damages with photographs, in line with company and BVRLA standards. Update the vehicle movement log to reflect asset status and location.
- Out-Checks: Greet customers or agencies collecting rental or sold vehicles. Perform detailed check-out inspections, ensuring all asset details are recorded. Photograph and document any pre-existing damages. Update the vehicle movement log accordingly.
- Yard Movements: Relocate vehicles within the yard to optimise space and access. Ensure safe and efficient movement of both rental and sales stock.
- Collection & Delivery: Transport vehicles to and from repairers or other locations as required. Collect AAG drivers or vehicle parts to support operational needs.
- Valeting: Prepare rental vehicles to a high standard for the rental-ready line. Ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company expectations for both rental and sales assets.
- External Check-Ins & Outs: Conduct asset inspections at customer sites prior to return or inter-site transfers. Document and photograph asset condition, ensuring consistency with internal standards.
- R2C Job Loading: Upload asset check-in data to R2C, listing all defects and attaching supporting photographs. Distribute relevant information to appropriate AAG personnel. Prepare and position vehicles for customer collection, whether for rental or post-sale. Ensure all documentation and vehicle presentation are complete and accurate.
- Yard Check: Perform monthly yard audits, verifying all on-site assets. Reconcile physical stock with the vehicle movement log and update the rental availability log accordingly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit business reports as and when required, in accordance with requests from line manager.
