Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Projects Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership role that requires a motivated, strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning and design through to execution and handover.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the structural and architectural steelwork industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good knowledge of UK-CA steelwork requirements.
- Ability to work with no prompting from senior management, chasing RFI’s, backing up verbal discussions and keeping the client updated on progress and variations.
