We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Projects Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership role that requires a motivated, strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning and design through to execution and handover.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the structural and architectural steelwork industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good knowledge of UK-CA steelwork requirements.
  • Ability to work with no prompting from senior management, chasing RFI’s, backing up verbal discussions and keeping the client updated on progress and variations.
