To provide comprehensive technical support and maintain IT systems with a heightened focus on data integrity, compliance support, and facilitating the smooth operation of both administrative and audit-specific functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhanced Technical & Audit Department Support
- Provide first-level IT support to all staff, prioritising urgent issues from the audit teams to minimise disruption to client engagements.
- Assist the audit department with ad-hoc technical tasks, including data extraction for analysis, preparation of IT systems for client audits, and troubleshooting software used in audit processes.
- Set up and configure secure hardware for staff, with an understanding of the sensitivity of client and audit data.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups with documentation to support compliance evidence requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of software and hardware upgrades, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to minimise impact on audit cycles.
- Update and maintain the firm's training records database, ensuring accuracy for compliance reporting.
- Safeguard all internal data and communications according to the firm's IT security policies and relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., aspects of ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Maintain the firm's website and social media profiles, including basic content updates and monitoring for functionality, and reporting performance metrics.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology or a related field is required.
- Foundational knowledge of computer systems, networking, and common business software.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
