About Us

At Soul Assembly, we're not just building games; we're crafting immersive worlds that redefine XR entertainment. From our vibrant studios in the heart of Leamington Spa, this multi‑award‑winning developer has launched some of the most celebrated and downloaded titles in the XR landscape. With a growing team of innovators, we're accelerating into the future of Mixed Reality, the metaverse and beyond.

The Role

We are looking for an Executive Producer to oversee a number of development projects and the ongoing maintenance of all our live titles. This is a high‑level leadership role for someone who can demonstrate proven experience at balancing resource budget ownership with agile leadership of creative teams to deliver innovative and ground‑breaking software projects. In this exciting and newly created role, you will work closely with the Head of the Studio and be responsible for the development success of multiple concurrent projects. You will own the full project lifecycle from sourcing and greenlighting through to release and handover, while ensuring live titles remain healthy and up‑to‑date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Sourcing & Internal Greenlight: Work alongside the Executive team securing projects by delivering relevant materials, presentations and plans to external partners. Create, present and secure internal greenlight sign‑off for project resource budgets, vision, scope, schedule and resource plans. Treat title updates for live games as new projects and run them through the same rigorous process.
  • Team Structure: Create agile, per‑project team structures with clear responsibilities and decision‑making. Identify skill and resource gaps, create and maintain job descriptions, and lead the full recruitment process for new hires.
  • Project Delivery: Own the complete project lifecycle from inception to release, maintaining an always up‑to‑date schedule, milestone definitions, QA processes, live documentation and 24/7 build availability. Ensure projects close correctly with a full retrospective, closing kit archive, partner obligations fulfilled, and smooth handover to the live‑ops team. Maintain strict accountability for hitting approved resource budgets. Identify, surface and mitigate systemic risks before they impact delivery. Drive maximum end‑user satisfaction and positive sentiment for all released projects.
  • Title Maintenance: Oversee the health of multiple released titles across platforms, delivering ad‑hoc maintenance updates (SDK updates, bug fixes, seasonal content, etc.).
  • Culture, Leadership, Mentoring & Upskilling: Foster happy, focused and creative teams with a culture of continuous improvement and high‑performance leadership. Actively mentor and coach key team members across the organisation on career development. Manage performance of your team members. Work with the Board of Directors to identify and develop high‑potential talent for future leadership roles.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Act as the primary development point of contact for external partners (Sony, Meta, Google, Apple, etc.). Collaborate with internal and external publishing teams on marketing, PR, and launch strategies, including asset and resource scheduling. Provide clear, data‑driven updates to the Studio Head, Board of Directors, and the wider team.

About You

Experience & Skills

  • Proven Leadership: Minimum 10+ years of experience in senior production roles, with a proven track record of shipping multiple high‑end titles (ideally including VR/XR).
  • Multi‑Team Management: Experience managing teams and overseeing complex resourcing across a studio or large department.
  • Coaching & Mentoring Ability: A proven ability to grow and upskill other leaders; you take pride in the success of the people you manage.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep experience managing multi‑million pound budgets.
  • Pragmatic Problem Solving: Apply hard‑won experience to overcome high‑level technical or organisational challenges.
  • Organisational Mastery: Exceptional organisational and motivational skills, with the ability to remain calm and decisive under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines.
