We are looking for a People Partner to join the People function at Assembly Global. Reporting to the Head of People, this role will give the right person exposure to all aspects of a thriving People function. You will be expected to be a key part of the Assembly Journey, collaborating with teams and finding innovative solutions to the way we work. This role is perfect for you if you want the opportunity to make a difference, have extensive knowledge and previous experience of ER cases, can easily identify challenges and implement solutions (both in the People Team and in the wider business), and are willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
Responsibilities:
- This role will be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of the People Team.
- You will be expected to get involved in People projects across the business.
- Opportunities and expectations to get involved in exciting projects across Europe.
- You will be required to build excellent relationships with your stakeholders quickly.
- Be willing to adjust and tailor your partnering approach based on the stakeholder, situation, and possible desired impact.
- Support line managers in addressing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Advise on the people implications of organisational change, making recommendations on sound advice and thoughtful process.
- Support the Learning & Development Manager on the implementation of new initiatives.
- Intelligence-gathering of good people management practices internally and externally.
- Use data to make insightful recommendations to the line managers, the wider business, and the Head of People.
- Work with the wider People Team to help create solutions, policies, initiatives, and ways of working that help us to find, keep, and grow exceptional talent.
- You will be responsible for connecting, understanding, and problem-solving in a number of environments.
- You will be a skilled mentor, problem solver, and have the ability to support a highly operational people/admin team.
Required Skills:
- Ideally have an operational HR background.
- CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.
- Be passionate about and experienced in organisational and people performance.
- You must be engaged with and thrive working in an ever-changing environment.
- Be data-centric and able to assimilate data effectively.
- Have clear communication and presentation skills.
- Be energetic, determined, and proactive.
- Hands-on, completer/finisher.
- EMEA exposure would be of benefit but not essential.
