As a Paid Social Account Director, you will lead a team delivering best‑in‑class performance for our clients. You will be a specialist in full funnel Paid Social with deep platform knowledge across Meta, Snapchat, TikTok and more for both Brand and Performance activity. With that platform knowledge, you’ll navigate your team through the latest best practices, standardisation and our product proposition enforcement.

You provide strategic insight, develop your team of specialists, and be responsible for the quality work we expect to deliver. This is a senior role within the social department. You will be an escalation point of contact for client and partners, as well as for our wider team. You will also work with the Head of Paid Social, Europe to deliver on departmental projects to future‑proof Paid Social. You’ll also foster a culture of continuous and responsible experimentation for your team, guiding managers and executives across London and India and nurturing their careers.

Responsibilities:
  • Enforce the highest standards forming Assembly’s paid social success formula.
  • Provide constructive feedback and development opportunities for team members.
  • Deliver compelling Paid Social narratives, collaborating with media partners to drive innovation.
  • Enforce agreed service level agreements, ensuring no over‑promise and under‑delivery.
  • Maintain zero errors through rigorous diagnostics and non‑negotiable checks.
  • Govern current systems and technology to pre‑empt issues and drive operational innovation.
  • Train your team to uncover insights that fuel client growth.
  • Support department resource planning, recruitment, and escalation management.
  • Attend and lead team meetings, events, and projects alongside the Head of Paid Social.
  • Act as an escalation point for senior clients, media owners and tech partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments and contribute to new business pitches.
  • Identify opportunities for up‑cross‑selling services.
  • Produce thought‑leadership content such as whitepapers and blog posts on paid social.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standard of deliverables.
  • Experience working with large multi‑market clients, budgets and Paid Social strategy.
  • Proficiency in Brand and Performance paid social planning and campaign activation.
  • Knowledge of advanced paid social products (ASC, CAPI, etc.) and measurement concepts (attribution, viewability, incrementality).
  • Effective communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Line‑management experience with role definition and development plans.
  • Expert knowledge of Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other platforms.
  • Passion for paid social and marketing, with up‑to‑date certifications.
  • Experience in luxury global brand work is desirable.
