About Assembled

Great customer support requires human agents and AI in perfect balance, and Assembled is the only unified platform that orchestrates both at scale. Companies like Canva, Etsy, and Robinhood use Assembled to coordinate their entire support operation — in-house agents, BPOs, and AI — in a single operating system. With AI Agents that resolve cases end-to-end, AI Copilot for agent assistance, and AI-powered workforce management that optimizes both human and AI capacity, Assembled helps teams deliver faster, better service while making smarter decisions about how to staff and automate. Backed by $71M from NEA, Emergence Capital, and Stripe, we're building the platform that makes AI and human collaboration actually work.

The role

We're hiring our second UK Account Executive to build on our momentum in EMEA. Our two biggest legacy competitors, Calabrio and Verint, are now both owned by private equity — most recently after Verint's $2B take-private. Five9, a publicly-traded partner doing $1B+ in revenue, picked us as their preferred reseller. Over 15% of our revenue is based in EMEA, with great customers like Bolt, Marshmallow, Intercom, and Zilch.

This is a hunting role — you’ll source, qualify, and close. You'll work alongside our founding UK seller, Kevin Chang, who joined in March. You’ll have real air cover from the broader business, which supports 400+ customers including Etsy, Stripe, and Salesforce, as well as a tried-and-true playbook. And being early, you’ll have first crack at a greenfield EMEA territory with uncapped upside. We're a Series B startup with real traction but we haven't won yet.

This role is based in our London office in the heart of King’s Cross, five days a week in person. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK; we are not sponsoring visas for this role.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full sales cycle for mid-market deals, typically £35K–£200K ACV, 3–5 stakeholders, 30–90 day cycles
  • Self-generate most of your pipeline without the need for inbound or marketing air cover (you’ll still have it)
  • Run your own demos and get deep enough on the product and space that you don't need sales engineering (you’ll still have it)
  • Be a trusted partner to product and engineering, bringing customer signal from your deals to feed the roadmap
  • Shape how we sell in EMEA by informing ideal customer profile, pricing, in-market competitive differentiation, and objection handling

This is a great fit if you…

  • Have 3+ years of closing experience in net-new, B2B deals
  • Have carried a £550K+ quota with 80%+ attainment over the past 2–3 years
  • Self-source a meaningful share of your pipeline
  • Have fluency with MEDDPICC or an equivalent disciplined sales process
  • Are AI-native: you use Claude, ChatGPT, and similar tools daily to research accounts, prep calls, and move 10x faster than other reps
  • Are excited about AI, the customer support industry, and the future of work
  • Want to be in our London office five days a week and “get on the plane” (one of our cultural values)

We know great candidates don’t always meet every requirement listed in a job description. If the role excites you and you believe you can make an impact at Assembled, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels like they belong and has the opportunity to do their best work. We look forward to hearing from you!

For United Kingdom Applicants: Assembled is required to verify your right to work in the UK and will conduct a Right to Work check prior to employment in accordance with applicable law.
