for a proactive, hands-on and experienced strong HSE professional /strong to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) /strong activities Take day-to-day responsibility for Health Safety matters at the UK manufacturing site. /li li Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the companys HSE policies, procedures and standards. /li li Ensure compliance with applicable UK Health Safety legislation, regulations and company requirements. /li li Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety observations and risk assessments. /li li Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. /li li Monitor and follow up on HSE actions to ensure timely completion. /li li Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and other HSE events, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. /li li Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, inspections, risk assessments and other HSE activities. /li li Coordinate and support Health Safety training, inductions and toolbox talks for employees and contractors. /li li Promote a positive Health Safety culture across the site and encourage employee engagement in HSE matters. /li li Monitor the safe working practices of employees, contractors and visitors. /li li Support the development and implementation of emergency response and contingency procedures. /li li Liaise with relevant external bodies, consultants and service providers where required. /li li Support internal and external HSE compliance with applicable UK environmental legislation, permits and regulatory requirements. /li li Support the implementation and maintenance of the companys Environmental Management System. /li li Monitor environmental aspects and impacts associated with site operations and recommend appropriate controls. /li li Maintain environmental records, documentation and compliance information. /li li Support waste management, recycling and environmental improvement initiatives. /li li Monitor environmental performance and follow up on identified actions. /li li Support environmental inspections, audits and regulatory visits. /li li Work closely with the Head Office HSE team on environmental requirements and continuous improvement initiatives. /li /ul p strong ISO Management Systems /strong /p ul li Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the sites strong ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems /strong . /li li Maintain relevant HSE documentation, procedures, records and registers. /li li Coordinate preparations for internal and external management system audits. /li li Follow up audit findings, non-conformities and corrective actions. /li li Ensure that HSE-related procedures and documentation are effectively communicated and implemented across the site. /li li Prepare regular HSE reports and updates for UK management and Head Office. /li /ul p strong Site Contractor Safety /strong /p ul li Monitor HSE compliance of contractors working on site. /li li Support contractor selection, induction and ongoing HSE monitoring. /li li Ensure appropriate risk assessments and method statements are in place where required. /li li Monitor site conditions and ensure that appropriate safety controls are maintained. /li li Work closely with production and site management to ensure that HSE requirements are integrated into day-to-day operations. /li li Provide practical HSE advice to managers and employees. /li /ul p br /p p strong About You /strong /p p We are looking for a strong hands-on, proactive and practical HSE professional /strong who is comfortable working directly within a manufacturing environment and taking ownership of HSE activities. /p p The successful candidate will be confident working independently, identifying risks and driving practical improvements while also working closely with the UK management team and Previous experience in a Health Safety, HSE, SHE or EHS role. /li li Experience working in a strong manufacturing, production, industrial, engineering or similar operational environment /strong . /li li Good knowledge of UK Health Safety legislation and regulatory requirements. /li li Practical experience in risk assessment, workplace inspections and incident investigation. /li li Experience coordinating HSE training, inductions and safety awareness activities. /li li Experience working with contractors and managing contractor HSE requirements. /li li Experience with environmental management and compliance. /li li Experience supporting or managing ISO management systems. /li li Knowledge of strong ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 /strong . /li li Strong organizational and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail. /li li Good written and verbal communication skills. /li li The ability to communicate confidently with employees, managers, contractors and external stakeholders. /li li A proactive, practical and solution-oriented approach. /li li The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. /li li Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly
