The Role
Assan Panel UK Ltd is part of the Kibar Group and operates a newly established manufacturing facility in the Ipswich area.
As we continue to grow our UK operations, we are looking for a proactive and hands-on
HR, Administration & HSE Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day HR and administrative activities at our UK manufacturing site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing business and wants to take ownership of a broad range of HR, administration and site-support activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the UK management team and employees, while also working in coordination with the Group HR function and Head Office in Turkey.
As the
HR, Administration & HSE Coordinator , you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the full employee lifecycle at our UK site, together with general office and site administration.
You will also provide administrative and coordination support for
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities, working closely with the Head Office.
This is a fully office-based role at our Ipswich facility , and the successful candidate will be expected to be present on site during normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Human Resources
- Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding day-to-day HR matters.
- Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee changes and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview arrangements, references and pre-employment checks.
- Prepare and maintain employment documentation, including contracts, letters, HR forms and personnel records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
- Coordinate new starter induction and onboarding activities.
- Support management team with employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct and grievance processes, in line with UK employment legislation and company policies.
- Coordinate annual leave, sickness absence and other employee records.
- Support payroll preparation and provide accurate payroll information to the relevant payroll team.
- Coordinate employee training and maintain training records.
- Support the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation comply with applicable UK legislation and company requirements.
- Office & General Administration
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities for the UK site.
- Support office facilities, supplies, equipment and general workplace requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers, contractors and service providers where required.
- Maintain administrative records and documentation.
- Assist with the organisation of meetings, events and employee-related activities.
- HSE & Environmental Support
- Provide administrative and coordination support for Health, Safety and Environmental activities at the site.
- Work closely with the UK Site Management and Head Office HSE teams to ensure required documentation and records are maintained.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of HSE procedures, policies and action plans under the guidance of the Head Office.
- Maintain HSE-related records, training records, inspection documentation and other relevant information.
- Assist with the organisation and documentation of HSE training and inductions.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections and certification processes.
- Follow up on HSE actions and ensure that relevant documentation is completed and maintained.
- Support environmental management activities and the implementation of the company's Environmental Management System, under the direction of the Head Office.
About You
We are looking for a hands-on, organised and proactive HR professional who is comfortable working across different areas and taking ownership of day-to-day activities. This position is open to candidates who already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK .

You will ideally have
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role covering a broad range of employee lifecycle activities.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering or similar operational environment is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of UK employment practices and employment legislation.
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, absence management and HR administration.
- Experience supporting payroll and employee benefits processes.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to communicate confidently with employees, managers and external stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, practical and solution-oriented approach.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
- A willingness to support HSE and environmental activities and learn the relevant requirements where necessary.
Desirable
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD qualification.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supporting HSE, environmental or ISO management systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
- Experience working with international or multicultural teams.
- Turkish language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
