What you would do as our Operations Finance Business Partner:

  • Support the Operations Financial Controller in achieving group objectives.
  • Build close partnerships across the Operations business ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Work closely with UK Business units to help deliver the company goals and requirements.
  • Production of the Operations P&L, review and challenge variances with the production area leaders to drive efficiencies through Operations and support with the Operations monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting process.
  • Manage the relationship with our 3rd party Distribution Centre to drive cost savings through the business, including attending regular meetings at the site and maintaining a good working relationship with the provider.
  • Prepare monthly stock analysis and group reporting including UK consolidated Sales and Margin analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain standard costs on the system, reviewing purchase price variances, standard cost revaluations and other system variances.
  • Auditing and reporting of the Perpetual Inventory Counts.
  • Be a key team member for the annual stock count including journal processing & variance reporting.

The skills and experience you need:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant.
  • Previous manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Able to successfully work to very tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics AX ideally).
