As our HR Advisor, you will join our HR Shared Services team on a 9-month maternity cover, playing a key role in delivering exceptional HR support across the business. Based at our Portobello site in Willenhall, you'll work closely with the Head of HR to deliver outstanding HR support and partner with managers to drive positive outcomes.
This is your chance to bring your expertise to life, providing guidance on employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance matters, and contributing to exciting HR projects that shape our people strategy. This is a fully office-based role with some travel to other sites, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow your experience and make a difference.
You would also:
- Provide generalist HR advice and support across all employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, performance, training, and leaver processes.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of policies and processes.
- Use workforce analytics to enhance processes and employee experience.
- Support change management initiatives, including organisational restructuring.
- Maintain compliance with legislation and ensure accurate documentation and system updates.
The skills and experience you need:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
- A CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation ideally.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage a fast-paced workload.
