What would you do as our Specification Business Development Manager As our Specification Business Development Manager, you will take a leading role in identifying and securing specification opportunities across our market-leading portfolio of door hardware, electronic access control systems and complete doorset packages.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specification sales specialist who excels at developing relationships, securing specifications, and influencing projects from initial concept through to successful completion.

Working at the forefront of the sales cycle, you will build strong relationships with developers, architects, building owners, and other key stakeholders to influence project specifications, shape design decisions, and convert opportunities into profitable business.

You will be instrumental in promoting integrated access solutions that deliver compliance, safety, performance, and long-term value for our customers.

You would also: Drive specification growth by identifying and securing opportunities across the Hospitality, PBSA, and Commercial sectors, influencing projects from concept through to completion.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with developers, architects, designers, contractors, and end users, becoming a trusted advisor on access and doorset solutions.

Champion integrated access solutions by promoting a portfolio of electronic locking, access control, door hardware, sealing systems, and complete doorset packages.

Provide technical and compliance expertise on fire safety, industry standards, legislation, and lifecycle value to help customers make informed decisions.

Manage and convert opportunities through effective pipeline management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to secure orders and maximise project value.

The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: Has
proven specification sales professional
with a strong track record of winning projects and delivering against revenue targets.

Is
commercially driven and relationship-focused
,
with experience influencing architects, developers, contractors, and end-user clients.

Has
excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
,
with the ability to build trusted long-term partnerships.

Has
knowledge of specification-led sales environments
, ideally including door hardware, access control, electronic locking systems, or related construction products.

Has
experience within the Hospitality or PBSA sectors
and existing industry relationships would be advantageous.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and industry qualifications such as GAI are beneficial.
