Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands… As the Specialised Product Area Sales Manager – UK & Ireland for the Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs. Establish an innovation pipeline to prioritize and develop new product concepts. Foster cross-functional collaboration between Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations. Integrate customer feedback into product development and process improvements. Implement performance tracking systems to measure success and optimize strategies. Reporting to Director of Sales - Hospitality, you will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth and profitability by developing and expanding new product acquisitions within hospitality, education and other relevant sectors. This role leverages a strong existing customer base while prioritizing solutions such as energy management systems and hotel Wi-Fi. Success requires strategic planning, market intelligence, and exceptional relationship-building skills to ensure competitive positioning and long-term growth.

What you will do… Identify and develop new acquisition opportunities to expand the product portfolio and address evolving market needs. Design and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, contractors, architects, and key accounts. Collaborate with Project Management, Customer Support, Technical Support, and Marketing to ensure effective product awareness and seamless installations. Deliver accurate sales forecasts to support production planning and maintain high quote-to-order conversion rates. Monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence to inform product development strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct. Provide training and support to the sales team and wider business on new acquisition products.

What we expect of you… Minimum of 3 years’ successful field sales experience in a related industry, ideally selling complete solutions directly to end users. Proven track record in business development and proactive product growth. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Percentage of new business generated through new acquisition products. Successful launch and adoption of new acquisition products. Revenue growth from portfolio expansion. High quote-to-order conversion rates and minimal lost business.

Metrics for Measuring Success Time-to-market for new acquisition products (measured in weeks/months). Percentage of total revenue generated from new acquisition products. Customer adoption rate within the first 12 months.
