As our Field Installation Support you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and field support to our OHSD partners based in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an expertise in sectional doors with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
You would also:
- Provide technical support and assistance to partners in the indirect business segment regarding the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sectional doors.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our sectional door products, specifications, and installation procedures, and provide guidance and recommendations to partners as needed.
- Deliver technical training programs and materials for partners to enhance their product knowledge, installation skills, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between partners and internal departments including sales, product development, and quality assurance to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, advancements in sectional door technology, and relevant standards to provide informed technical guidance and support to partners.
The skills and experience you need:
- Has experience in a technical support and/or field installation of industrial products in a B2B environment.
- Has experience in technical product support, especially in construction or building materials industry within a B2B market.
- Knowledge of sectional doors or/and docking products will be a huge plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively, both remotely and in the field.
- Ability to communicate with people from different levels, both internally and externally, with excellent listening and teaching skills.
- Is autonomous and flexible with effective planning skills.
