We are seeking to appoint several apprentices within our Portobello site, Willenhall, WV13 3PW across the following areas, the description gives you an idea of what the future role will be:
Engineering:As there is an increase in semi-automated cells & processes in production this will open up opportunities for apprentices to be trained in fault diagnosis, problem solving and identifing new opportunities in manufactuing practices. The role would also involve solution provision to increase production efficiency.
Software Development/ Programming:You will learn how to help us provide an outstanding service for customers. Working in a small team, you will learn a wide range of skills including software support for our Digital Access Solution systems, reporting and report development, customer service and technical software support.
Service and Installation:You will learn how to help us provide an outstanding installation service for customers. Assisting the Product Installation and Service Engineers you will learn a wide range of skills including how to install products in accordance with the agreed project parameters, overcome any technical onsite issues, carry out pre-emptive site surveys and more.
Technical Customer Service:You will learn how to ensure that our customers receive 100% customer satisfaction in relation to return and repair enquiries, alongside learning mechanical and electrical engineering through on the job training in the repair procedures of our portfolio of electromechanical and digital access solutions.
Customer Services:You will have opportunities to learn and manage the order process for all customers, providing a comprehensive service surrounding products, services, orders and general enquiries. You will be trained and strive to offer a service that is perceived by customers and consumers as world class, consistently ensuring timely and efficient solutions and advice and striving for continuous improvement.
Supply Analyst :Are you analytical and like working with data? you will learn how to analyse stock levels and forecast for future customer requirements.

During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Be required to attend college/ training to fulfil the academic apprenticeship criteria

- Have a keen interest in their chosen field.
- Are passionate and have enthusiasm to take on new skills and develop fresh new ideas.
- Have the equivalent Grade 9-4 qualifications in Maths and English
- Are self motivated and hard working
- Have a logical, methodical approach to problem solving
- Have good attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Are able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
