Purpose of the role: We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our EMEIA marketing team to work on the creation and rollout of marketing assets across digital and print channels. You will support campaigns, communication initiatives, and brand applications by producing well-crafted, on-brand design assets. You will own design tasks from brief to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with our visual identity. You will not only prepare assets hands-on but also review the consistency of agency and internal design outputs.
In this role, you will be exposed to global brands and multi-market campaigns, gaining hands-on experience across print, digital, and video in a real business context. You will receive guidance and feedback from experienced designers, marketers, and UX professionals. You will also have the opportunity to shape and apply brand guidelines across multiple countries in a fast-learning environment, with responsibility from day one.
You will take part in the EMEIA Graduate Program — an 18‐month journey designed to kick-start your career at ASSA ABLOY. You will join an international cohort of graduates from across EMEIA, gaining exposure to different business areas, segments, and cultures. As part of the program, you will complete a 3‐month secondment in another European country, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and build a strong international network.
Principal responsibilities:
- Design visual assets for campaigns, presentations, brochures, events, social media, web, and other communication materials, creating print-ready artwork and handling production-related tasks such as prepress, file formats, and liaising with suppliers
- Support digital design needs across web, social, and app-related communication using tools such as Figma and Adobe Experience Manager
- You may also support the creation of video, broadcasts, podcasts, or UI-related designs depending on project needs
- Apply and help roll out our visual identity by developing templates and guidelines for internal stakeholders and markets
- Ensure consistent design quality through reviews and close collaboration with brand, UX, and other stakeholders
- Use AI-assisted tools as part of your workflow for ideation, visual exploration, and efficiency, in line with internal guidelines
Education, experience and personal characteristics:
- Educated to a university degree level, with a solid understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, color, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Some experience working as a graphic or brand designer, either in-house, at an agency, or a combination of both
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply brand guidelines across different formats (digital and/or print)
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro). Confident in creating presentation and document layouts in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Interest and knowledge of digital photography and CGI are a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
