As our Design Engineer you will support the growth and profitability through innovative product design and development. In this role, you will be instrumental in introducing new products that align with market values while ensuring compliance with industry and environmental standards. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects from concept to validation, using cutting-edge tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
You would also:
- Drive innovation through design, development, and successful product launches.
- Use CAD tools (SolidWorks) to deliver projects aligned with NPI roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and marketing teams on impactful projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The skills and experience you need:
- Experience in a related Design/Mechanical Engineering role developing products from conception through to manufacture.
- An HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Design/Mechanical Engineering.
- An exceptional ability in the use of CAD system and other related software.
- Strong knowledge of modern design and manufacturing methods in a medium/high volume production environment.
