This role is hybrid.**What you would do as our** **HR Manager – Northern Europe**You will act as the HR Manager for Business Operations in Northern Europe and as HR Generalist for the UK entity.

You will work with leaders to build sustainable short- and mid-term business success through people, culture and organization.

You will also serve as HR Business Partner & Advisor to Sub-Regional, Country and Functional Leadership across the area and you will ensure alignment of HR practices and initiatives with strategic and operational business needs.

You would also drive consistent application of HR policies and core processes across all entities.

You would also:• HR Business Partnering & Leadership: Drive Global HR core processes (Annual Salary Review, Performance & Development Cycle, Talent Review & Succession Planning) across Northern Europe and own HR KPIs for this area (notably staff turnover and engagement) as a basis for prioritization.

  • Talent

Acquisition: Own strategic and leadership hiring across Northern Europe, coordinate and execute talent acquisition for local roles across the UK & Ireland and ensure effective, cost-efficient recruiting and consistent hiring standards across all entities.

  • HR Operations – with focus on the UK: Execute HR operations directly for the UK entity, ensure consistent, efficient delivery of HR operations across Northern Europe and maintain consistent HR policies and employee lifecycle management (onboarding, contracts, leavers), executed in the UK and overseen regionally.
  • Governance, Compliance & Policy: Ensure HR governance and compliance with local labo law and company policy across Northern Europe, with a focus on the UK and support implementation of global/group HR policy changes at regional and local level.

Also manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, legally compliant outcomes

  • Workforce Planning, Compensation & FTE Reporting: Ensure consistent application of Job Architecture and Compensation & Benchmarking frameworks across Northern Europe and collaborate closely with Finance, e. g. on monthly FTE/headcount reporting and partner with leaders on workforce planning, particularly during annual budget planning. **The skills and experience you need**We are looking for someone who:• Has proven & broad HR experience (8+ years), preferably in a regional or multi-country HR Manager / HR Business Partner role, ideally within an industrial or technical/service-motivated business.

Hands-on Talent Acquisition, HR Operations & Payroll experience in the UK is essential.

  • Has strong knowledge of UK employment law (mandatory), strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to operate across cultures, seniority levels, and a matrixed reporting structure, strong operational HR knowledge, including payroll fundamentals and HR service delivery.
  • Is hands-on and pragmatic, genuinely comfortable moving between strategic and day-to-day operational HR work – this role requires both, not one or the other.
