What you would do as our Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager within the Global Solutions division, you will have the opportunity to lead Traka’s growth in the whole UK. This role is pivotal in expanding Traka’s footprint by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique challenges of our customer environments. The ongoing expansion and strategic development of Traka’s existing accounts will drive measurable success and reinforce our market leadership.
You would also:
- Identify and engage with key decision‑makers.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including RFP responses and contract negotiations, while maintaining accurate CRM records and providing regular sales forecasts.
- Promote Traka’s intelligent key and asset management solutions—such as electronic key cabinets, smart lockers, and distribution systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, marketing, product) to customize solutions and ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Represent Traka at industry events and stay up to date on relevant regulations, procurement frameworks, and digital transformation trends.
The skills and experience you need
- A proven track record in business development or sales roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long‑term relationships with stakeholders.
- Self‑motivation and a target‑driven mindset, capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of performance.
- Experience with access control, security, or asset management technologies is desirable and adds value to the role.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays and occasional international travel.
