We are currently recruiting Apprentices for our head office in Portobello, Willenhall (WV13 3PW), home to a large manufacturing facility and key business support functions. As a global leader in access solutions, we provide Apprenticeship opportunities in the following areas:
- Engineering: Support improvements to assembly and primary processes, assist with automation initiatives, and apply engineering principles such as Flow, TAKT and Value Analysis to reduce operational costs.
- Quality: Play a key role in enhancing products, processes, and systems with a focus on reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and defective parts.
- Procurement: Develop commercial skills by supporting supplier negotiations to secure cost‑effective, high‑quality materials that support product performance and profitability.
- Marketing: Contribute to strengthening the ASSA ABLOY brand across digital and social channels, enhancing awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Sales: Build the foundation for a future career in sales by developing key business acumen skills and supporting the continued growth of product sales.
- Business Development: Support initiatives that drive strategic growth and new business opportunities.
- IT: Provide an excellent level of 1st line support to end users for any IT related issues as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Customer Services: Manage customer orders and enquiries, ensuring a professional, efficient, and solution‑focused service that reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Technical Support / Service: Providing customer-focused technical support across software and hardware access control products, including troubleshooting via phone and helpdesk tickets.
