Industrial Door Engineering is seeking a dedicated and motivated Fitters Mate in the Northwich area to join our team.
In this role, you will work alongside an experienced fitter to install, repair, and service roller shutter doors across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Fitter in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roller shutter doors and other industrial door products.
- Help transport, unload, and prepare materials and tools for jobs.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed on‑site and maintain a clean working environment.
- Provide hands‑on support during installation and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the fitting team to ensure smooth job completion.
- Travel to various locations for both local and national projects.
About You
- Basic knowledge or interest in mechanical/electrical work.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and develop your skills.
- Comfortable with manual work, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
