Lisburn, UK – This newly created role will sit as part of the Senior Leadership Team of the UK&I Doors Segment reporting to the MD.
What you would do as our SHEQ Manager
This role will lead and be accountable for the safe, compliant, and high‑quality delivery of high‑security door manufacturing and installation projects. Working across factory operations and project sites, the postholder will work to ensure all activities meet relevant safety legislation, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and site audits.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non‑conformances.
- Support quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with subcontractors and ensure compliance with site requirements.
The skills and experience you need
- Proven experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment and has experience supporting SHEQ compliance on construction or installation sites.
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work in both factory and site environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, installation plans, and product specifications.
- Experience with RAMS for high risk environments (desirable).
- Knowledge of environmental compliance and waste management in manufacturing (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills for engaging operatives, supervisors, and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose practical solutions.
- NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and understanding of PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and other relevant UK H&S legislation.
- Internal auditor qualification for ISO standards (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
