Digital / Marketing / Data… sounds interesting but what is it all about?
Are you curious about how websites work behind the scenes? Do you want to support real-time product updates, learn how data powers eCommerce, and help build smarter, more connected customer experiences?
We’re looking for a Digital & Data Apprentice to support our Web/Digital and Data teams at ASSA ABLOY UK. You’ll help manage and improve our websites, keep our product data clean and consistent, and assist in digital marketing campaigns that reach customers through email, search, and smart personalisation tools.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about websites, ecommerce, and how digital platforms connect customers with the right information at the right time.
What you would do as our Digital Apprentice:
- Website Maintenance & Content Updates:Help update product pages, banners, SEO metadata, and downloadable resources on our brand websites using tools like AEM or WordPress.
- Web Shop Support & Testing:Assist in adding products, testing user journeys, and making improvements to filters, checkout, and search tools in our B2B Web Shop platform.
- Digital Marketing Support:Assist in creating email campaigns, SEO content, and marketing assets. Learn how structured product data drives smarter campaigns and search engine visibility.
- Analytics & Reporting:Help track performance of website traffic, campaign results, product interest and customer engagement using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Power BI.
- AI & Automation Projects:Support the implementation of AI-powered features like product chatbots, automated emails, or voice search tools by tagging and training data correctly.
The skills and experience you need:
- A strong interest in websites, ecommerce, and digital tools
- An understanding of how product data and customer info shape user experience
- Basic familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, CMS platforms, or email software (Mailchimp, HubSpot etc.)
- Attention to detail and an eagerness to learn
- Confidence working with others and communicating ideas clearly
- A self-motivated approach and good time management
