Regional Sales Manager – Northern Region

We are partnered with a market-leading international manufacturer that is going through an exciting period of growth and change. The Role

We are seeking an experienced people leader to take responsibility for a team of 7 Sales & Key Account Managers across the North of England. This role is all about inspiring, developing, and leading—ensuring your team executes the wider business strategy, drives incremental growth, and strengthens customer relationships across key channels, including:

  • Regional House Builders
  • Main Contractors & Sub-Contractors
  • Social Housing Providers (HA’s / LA’s)

You’ll work closely with the Sales Director, turning strategy into action on the ground and ensuring delivery against ambitious growth plans. This is a hands‑on leadership role where coaching, development, and high‑performance culture are at the core.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team, setting clear goals and supporting achievement.
  • Build and manage strong customer relationships with senior decision‑makers across contracts, projects, and merchant partners.
  • Review and drive account performance, identifying new business development opportunities.
  • Deliver market insights and adapt strategy to evolving customer and sector trends.
  • Drive collaboration across functions, ensuring first‑class customer service and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team.

The Person

  • Proven leadership experience (2 – 4 years +) within building materials, construction, interiors, or bathrooms sector (industry background preferred but not essential).
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can turn plans into measurable performance.
  • Commercially driven, with experience of growing accounts and developing customer strategies.
  • Energetic, ambitious, and adaptable — able to thrive in a fast‑changing environment.
