The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This is a commercially focused Key Account role, responsible for developing and managing business across the Social Housing and Public Sector market. The position centres on working with local authorities, housing associations, registered social landlords, main contractors and framework partners, ensuring product specification, conversion and delivery through the appropriate routes to market.
The role is a mix of account development, specification influence and project conversion, working closely with regional sales teams and merchant partners to deliver agreed volumes and revenue.
The Role
- Develop and grow business within the Social Housing and Public Sector sector in the south of the country, ideally situated from South Birmingham down.
- Manage relationships with local authorities, housing associations, RSLs, main contractors and framework partners.
- Drive product specification and ensure conversion through merchants and contractors.
- Build demand through the full route to market and track projects from early stage through to order.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales, volume and conversion targets.
- Maintain a strong activity level across the customer base (circa 120 meaningful customer interactions per quarter).
- Work closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure a joined-up regional approach.
- Once specifications are secured, align regional teams to ensure effective execution and delivery.
- Ensure pricing, quotations and commercial terms are accurate and appropriate for contract business.
- Maintain accurate CRM records covering customer activity, projects and pipeline.
