ASR are partnering with a fast-growing design-led brand within the KBB sector, who are experiencing exceptional results β with sales up over 40% year-to-date. As the business continues to expand, we are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to manage and develop a strong portfolio of national merchant accounts across the North West, North East, and Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their area sales career, or for a showroom-based professional ready to step into their first field role and take on a larger region responsibility.
Role OverviewThis role focuses on proactive account development β nurturing relationships, supporting merchant partners, and maximising product visibility and sales growth. You will be hands-on across showroom support, merchandising, product training, and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management & Growth
- Grow spend across ~100 established and active merchant accounts
- Maximise sales opportunities and upsell across the full product range
- Increase order value through smart product positioning and territory planning
- Support showroom teams with product training to boost conversion
- Build strong relationships with buying groups and key decision-makers
- Resolve queries quickly to maintain exceptional service levels
- Maintain high standards of product display and brand impact in showrooms
- Demonstrate strong understanding of customer business needs
- Plan and deliver an efficient and structured call cycle
- Stay aware of competitor activity and market movement
- Keep CRM fully updated with visits, contacts, pipeline and actions
- Provide clear reporting on opportunities, risks and performance
- Essential:
- Experience in KBB sales or strong showroom sales experience, ready for field move
- Relationship-driven with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong territory and diary management skills
- Consultative sales approach with commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with independent merchants or buying groups
- Proven Field Sales or Showroom experience
- Well-established but rapidly growing business
