This is a strategic National Account Manager role with a strong emphasis on distribution-led account management, operating at a senior level within the business. The position is responsible for managing a high-value portfolio generating in excess of £10m annually, with a clear focus on driving volume, revenue and profitability through structured account leadership.
The role is predominantly focused on the bathroom distribution channel, working closely with key national and regional distributors, while also managing a smaller number of kitchen distribution partners. Buying group experience is highly relevant and will be considered as part of the overall background.
This is not a traditional field-based sales role — it requires someone commercially astute, analytically strong and confident managing complex distributor relationships, agreements and supply chains.
- Full ownership of a £10m+ distribution-led account portfolio
- Managing and developing relationships with key national distributors and selected kitchen distribution partners
- Leading all aspects of account development, planning and execution
- Developing robust, action-oriented account plans aligned with wider business strategy
- Conducting annual business reviews at a senior level, presenting performance, insights and future strategy
- Managing annual agreements, supply agreements and commercial terms
- Ensuring pricing integrity through objective, data-led business cases
- Producing quarterly performance reports covering targets, execution and outlook
- Working cross-functionally with customer service, procurement, marketing, retail teams and showrooms
- Managing display budgets, stock and inventory planning
- Playing a key role in supply chain coordination and distributor performance management
Proven experience as a National Account Manager / Distribution Manager within bathrooms, interiors or a closely related sector. Strong background working with distributors, wholesalers, buying groups and retailers. Highly commercial and numerate, confident working with data, forecasting, margins and performance reporting. Track record of building and developing distribution channels. Experienced presenting account plans and business reviews to senior leadership. Comfortable operating in a senior, visible role with long-term responsibility.
