We are partnering with a quality, design-led manufacturer entering an exciting period of change and growth. This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to build and shape an in-house marketing function from the ground up. Historically, marketing has been largely outsourced. The business is now ready to bring marketing in-house as a core function within the management team, with real influence across brand, product, sales and long-term strategy.
This role would suit a strong marketing generalist β someone comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on β with the ambition and capability to build a wider marketing team around them over time.
The OpportunityA clear brand strategy is already in place, supported by strong product credentials and a genuine commitment to sustainability, including B Corp status. The focus now is translating this foundation into a cohesive, owned marketing strategy with consistent execution. You will have the autonomy to define how marketing supports growth, working closely with senior leadership. There is significant scope to evolve the function, agency model and internal capabilities as the business grows.
The RoleThe Marketing Manager will own marketing end-to-end, including:
- Brand positioning and messaging
- Product launches and go-to-market strategy
- Digital marketing and content
- Marketing collateral and trade marketing
- Specification support and sales enablement
- Working closely with sales, product and leadership teams
The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, particularly in the early stages, with the opportunity to build a broader team in the future.
Routes to MarketPrimarily B2B-focused today, including trade, merchants, independent retailers and specification. There is an increasing emphasis on higher-end retail and longer-term consideration of consumer influence and potential future D2C models.
About YouA marketing generalist with experience across brand, product and go-to-market activity. Comfortable building structure, process and strategy where little currently exists. Commercially aware, collaborative and confident working with senior stakeholders. Ideally, from a product-led, design-focused or manufacturing environment. Ambitious and motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality, growing business, work with an exceptional senior leadership team, and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the business.
