Area Sales Manager – Retail & Showroom (Yorkshire and Northeast)
We are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer of bathroom products to fill a key role covering the Yorkshire and Northeast regions.
As an Area Sales Manager , you will be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of retail and showroom clients. This role is focused on ensuring that product displays are well-maintained, up-to-date, and prominently positioned in prime showroom spaces.
Your role will involve rolling out high-quality bathroom displays across a network of mid-to-high-end independent retailers and showrooms. By increasing brand presence in these locations, you'll help grow sales opportunities by consistently targeting, servicing, and delivering the best service and offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct meaningful contacts/meetings (a mix of face-to-face or remote via Teams).
- Manage and coordinate the roll-out of new product displays to ensure optimal brand presence.
- Negotiate stock and pricing for small stock deals with key showroom partners.
- Deliver in-branch training programs for showroom staff and affiliated installers, focusing on the full range of bathroom products and their applications.
- Support exhibitions and end-user related activities where necessary to promote brand awareness.
- Drive high customer engagement through a consultative and tailored sales approach.
- Manage a portfolio of around 130 active clients, generating approximately £1m annually.
- Balance key account management (70%) with new business development (30%) to maintain and grow the region.
- Track and analyse account performance, setting measures and targets to ensure continuous positive sales growth.
- Provide regular feedback to the Sales Director to help improve service and sales performance.
- Ensure consistent use of CRM to log activity
