Area Sales Manager – North West (Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Stockport, Chester & North Wales)

We are partnering with a fantastic brand within the Bathroom industry who hare in search of a ambitious and focused sales person who has excellent interpersonal skills.

The Role

We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to manage and expand a territory covering the North West, including Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Stockport, Chester, and North Wales. This role focuses on selling into independent retailers, showrooms, and merchants, building long-term partnerships, and creating demand for premium bathroom products.

With a highly competitive salary of up to Β£49,000 basic, a realistic and achievable quarterly bonus, and an electric vehicle (EV) included, this role offers excellent earning potential and career progression.

The ideal candidate

  • Thrives in sales and enjoys a customer-facing role.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and eager to grow key accounts.
  • Knowledge or previous experience within the KBB
  • Enjoys relationship-building and adding real value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Growth – Develop and expand relationships with independent retailers, showrooms, and trade merchants.
  • Account Management – Manage a portfolio of 130+ active customers, driving account retention and new business.
  • Customer Training & Development – Deliver tailored training plans to strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Sales & Business Development – Identify new opportunities, secure deals, and grow market share within retail and trade channels.
  • Industry Events & Networking – Represent the brand at key industry events to build connections and secure business.
  • Strategic Sales Initiatives – Collaborate with internal teams to implement company sales strategies.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Ambitious, sales-driven, and proactive – thrives on winning business and building relationships.
  • Experienced in retail or trade sales – whether from a showroom background looking to move into field sales or already managing a sales territory.
  • Commercially astute – confident in spotting sales opportunities, negotiating deals, and increasing market share.
  • Passionate about the industry – experience in bathrooms, kitchens, plumbing, or building materials is a plus.
