POSITION SCOPE
Receive, store and load product in accordance with the company's SHHEQ policies and procedures.
POSITION STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND KEY DELIVERABLES
Efficiently receive, locate and load product from production lines and outside storage ensuring that all Warehouse Management System, Quality and Stock inventory transactions are completed on time and are accurate.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare customised pallets as specified by customer needs.
- Operate effectively within a flexible & committed team.
- Demonstrate a full knowledge and understanding of the Warehouse Management System and all packing and warehouse operations through continuous development and training.
- Assist in the training and development of colleagues.
- Maintain high safety and quality standards in all operations and working practices.
- Enforce high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in line with company policies.
- Reduce sugar loss.
- Carry out Hygiene and Safety Audits and actively participate in local and area safety meetings.
- Be flexible to cover other warehouse roles, including administrative duties and stock related activities.
- Use knowledge and experience to anticipate problems where possible and to solve problems when they occur.
- Be numerate and computer literate.
- Experience using a forklift and scanners.
- Be an effective team member with a positive attitude and commitment.
