SHIFT: Mon-Friday
- Week 1 - 3 day shifts (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Week 2 - 3 night shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
- Week 3 - 2 day shifts (Monday, Tuesday) & 2 night shifts (Thursday, Friday)
POSITION SCOPE
To safely operate, maintain, and improve a packing line to meet the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) plan cost-effectively and to meet customer requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate packing line(s) and other offline equipment adhering to safety, environmental, quality, hygiene, and output standards.
- Complete required quality checks, compare results against specified parameters, and follow company quality procedures for action where necessary.
- Adjust plant operations as needed to ensure specifications are maintained.
- Use forklifts to supply lines with packaging materials.
- Use knowledge and experience to anticipate and solve problems using relevant continuous improvement tools.
- Record quality and performance data, monitor line performance trends, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate handover information and issues clearly within the packing team, including operators and maintenance technicians.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects where appropriate.
