The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Design Technology, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification such as: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (or equivalent) / Master’s degree in Education or a related field is highly desirable
  • Qualified Teacher Status / Teaching License / Teacher Registration Board
  • A minimum of 10 years’ teaching experience, preferably in international or British-curriculum schools
  • Strong expertise in Design & Technology, with the ability to integrate digital tools, innovation, and EdTech into learning
  • Experience leading technology or design-based initiatives and supporting the development of digital learning strategies
  • Proven experience mentoring colleagues, delivering professional development (CPD), and contributing to whole-school or departmental strategy
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate Organization is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Commitment to promoting student achievement, creativity, and inclusive learning environments
  • Experience working in international or multicultural educational settings is an advantage
