Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to become a valued member of a professional and supportive team in a welcoming, inclusive three-form entry primary school located in Hammersmith and Fulham. Starting as soon as possible, this is a full academic year contract running until July, term time only.
The role
As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working within one of the school\’s specialist SEND hubs, supporting multiple children with profound and complex learning needs. The role is both rewarding and dynamic, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
You will support children across the full primary age range, from EYFS (Nursery-Reception) through to Key Stage 2, depending on the needs of the school. This may include working with pupils with a variety of complex learning needs. A key aspect of the role includes providing personal care and feeding support, so candidates must be comfortable with intimate care responsibilities.
You will work closely with a friendly and experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that enables pupils to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
