Quay View School are recruiting for an Administrator to join our busy and professional administration team. This role will be 5 days per week to be completed during term-time (39 weeks per year). We are looking for an enthusiastic multitasker, who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel & Word. The successful candidate will be a solution-focused member of the team and able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Managing the school reception, including welcoming visitors, answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries in a helpful manner.
- Recording student attendance accurately and completing welfare calls to parents/carers where required.
- Supporting finance processes, including inputting invoices, tracking and coding purchases and maintaining cost control spreadsheets.
- Raising BACS requests and following the correct approval procedures.
- Raising orders and goods receipting.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider school community.
Skills
- Confident in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- An understanding of finance reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
