Aspris College North Wales are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.

Aspris College North Wales is a specialist further education college for learners aged 16-25 with Autistic Spectrum Condition and a range of associated conditions. Aspris College North Wales works in partnership with College Cambria to deliver mainstream education with tailored support in education, independence and communication skills. We also offer bespoke tailored programmes for students including therapies.
Main duties and expectations:
- You will receive and respond promptly to referrals undertaking initial assessments to establish the scope, level and nature of the individual young person's therapeutic and mental health needs.
- You will lead and facilitate group and/or individual therapy sessions, short and long-term, ensuring interventions continue to meet the needs of the young person and are consistent with the provisions detailed in their therapy plan.
- You will manage, monitor and review an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales.
- Ability to work independently and with previous experience of working with young people with ASD, preferably within an education setting, is essential.
