We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join us at our brand‑new school for autistic children and young people, which opened in September 2025.
You will receive a full induction, along with ongoing support from experienced maintenance colleagues across Aspris.
As the school continues to grow, there may also be opportunities to progress into a Maintenance Manager role.
We are looking for a passionate handyperson and an enthusiastic DIYer, who will carry out reactive day‑to‑day maintenance issues within the site and their grounds.
You will also assist in supporting our other homes in the community, liaising with contractors when on site and ad‑hoc requests from management as and when necessary.

The following skills would be of benefit to the role
- Previous experience in a maintenance position or similar role
- A good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace, however training will be provided
- You will be organised, adaptable and thorough in your approach to work
