Due to expansion, Roehampton Gate School and our new Putney Vale Campus are looking to recruit an outstanding SEN Teacher to join our Teaching team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
As a SEN Teacher, You Will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated literacy or numeracy lessons tailored to individual needs
- Teach using a stage-not-age approach, ensuring learning matches each student’s developmental level
- Support students to develop core knowledge and functional skills leading to appropriate accreditation pathways
- Build confidence, resilience and independence through structured and creative teaching approaches
- Monitor, assess and track student progress in line with EHCP outcomes
