Woodview School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team to start in September 2026. We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain daily cleaning schedules, ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the school and respond promptly to requests for assistance.
  • Record keeping and ensure issues are logged on the internal computer systems; keep up to date with routine maintenance checks.
  • Supervise the staff team and foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience of daily cleaning schedules in a similar environment.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety legislation applicable to the role.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to interact with young people who may display varying degrees of emotional/behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.
  • Organisational skills and confidence in record‑keeping.
  • Attentive and adaptable to varying job requirements.

Set in its own private grounds, Aspris Woodview School provides holistic support to children and young people aged 7 to 19 years with autism. The role will be working a total of 41 weeks, 39 weeks of which will be during term time. We provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need it most.

All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service / Disclosure Scotland and at least 2 references covering the last 3 years. Where we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools.
