Aspris College Wales are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join our education team. We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Learning Support Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will assist the young adults with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

Aspris College South Wales is an independent, specialist co-educational college for young adults aged 16 to 25 with Asperger\’s syndrome, autistic spectrum disorders and associated conditions based in Torfaen. The college was set up in partnership with Coleg Gwent, the largest further education college in Wales, to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our young people.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting young people and have NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) which is appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults.
