As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to our young people and help with day-to-day activities such as getting dressed and ready for school. If you are working a weekend shift, you may be on-site less often as activities may take you off-site to places like theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas and zoos. You’ll have meaningful moments and, at times, be inspired by the progress and resilience of the young people you support. Our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs. The strong relationships and lasting memories you help to create can be highly rewarding, including seeing a young person overcome difficulties and progress.
Our home is a detached property in a rural location on the outskirts of a Leicestershire village, with access to Burton and Midlands Road network. The home provides a nurturing, supportive, structured and stable environment, on a 24-hour basis, for up to three young people aged up to 18 with emotional, developmental and/or behavioural difficulties. Due to the location of this role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
