Progression House are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our existing support team - part of our friendly, caring and supportive whole school team. We are looking for passionate people to make sure our site is safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. The role will include:
- Cleaning the main building as well as the additional classroom blocks, toilets, training kitchen, staff area.
- Stock taking of cleaning products and refilling dispensers as required; training will be given where necessary.
- Stock checking, mandatory paperwork completing and deep cleans of the school as and when required.
Progression House is part of Sketchley School which is based over 3 sites and therefore you may be asked to cover at another site as and when required. The hours for this role will be 2 hours per day: 7am - 9am, Monday to Friday, this will include 1 hour of lone working along with responsibility to open the site.
The following skills would be of benefit to the role:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or site cleaning position.
- A good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace; however, training will be provided.
- You will be organised, adaptable and thorough in your approach to work.
