Quay View School is recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team!

We are looking for passionate individuals to ensure our sites are safe and comfortable, covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school, with a flexible approach to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

About Our School

At Quay View School, we specialise in high-quality residential and educational provisions for children aged 7 to 18, who may have SEMH and/or Autism. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our young people, who may have experienced challenges, is always our priority, along with encouraging them to achieve their full potential. We are part of Aspris Children\’s Services, which includes Quay View School and Tor View School.

Note: Due to the school\’s location, own transport is required.

Your role will be to deliver an efficient and high-quality housekeeping service within the school, supporting the wellbeing, comfort, and development of our students and young people.

Main Duties

  1. Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, complying with operational standards and statutory regulations.
  2. Ensure standards are met in all areas of the school efficiently, as part of the wider team.
  3. Identify and report damage, faults, and issues to the maintenance department or Head Teacher to ensure quality standards and regulations are upheld.

The ideal candidate will have experience with daily cleaning schedules, complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good knowledge of health and safety legislation and COSHH.

All applicants must undergo safeguarding screening, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service/Disclosure Scotland, and provide at least two references covering the last three years, including from roles involving children or vulnerable adults. References may be requested prior to interview.
