About the school: Rossendale is a day school catering for the needs of pupils who are autistic and academically able. All pupils have a draft or final Education, Health and Care Plan. The School provides education for young people aged from 7 – 18 years of age. Key stages 3 and 4 are based on the main school site, whilst Key stage 2 and 5 are based at our Campus which is based in the local community. At Key stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications and A level courses at the sixth form provision. Given the disrupted nature of our pupils’ education, prior to their admission to Rossendale, we have had some outstanding examination results. The school admits both boys and girls.

As part of Aspris Children’s Services, we are immensely proud of the career pathway and training we can offer you. We ask that you can demonstrate the values needed for a role, transferable skills and life experience and in return we will give you all the training and support you need to progress.

What you’ll be doing: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Review Co‑ordinator & Administrative Assistant to join our team at Rossendale School. In this key role, you will take the lead in managing the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) review process for all pupils, ensuring reviews are completed efficiently and in line with statutory requirements. You will work closely with Local Authority SEN teams, families, and a range of internal and external stakeholders, playing a vital role in supporting positive outcomes for our pupils. Alongside your core responsibilities, you will provide flexible administrative support, including reception duties at our Campus site, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail‑focused, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference within a supportive educational environment. This role will be 5 days per week to be completed during term-time (39 weeks per year).

About you: An enthusiastic, solution‑focused team player with a positive, can‑do attitude. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and external professionals. Proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively - prioritising and managing competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Confident and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Attentive and adaptable, able to handle a variety of tasks such as greeting visitors, answering calls, booking appointments, and coordinating reviews. Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy. Good level of English and Maths to support the requirements of the role. A full driving licence is needed, as you’ll be travelling between sites.

Above all, we provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need it most. If you want to progress your career working in Education, Aspris Children’s Services will help you get there. Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service and at least 2 references which cover the last 3 years; for all our services we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools.
