Unsted Park School are recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our administration team. We are looking for an enthusiastic multitasker, who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel & Word. The successful candidate will be a solution focused member of the team and be able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner. This role is 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term-time + 2 weeks).

We are a SEN school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 7 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Main responsibilities:
- Front of house duties: answering phone calls, picking up voicemails and passing messages to the relevant people; monitoring various inboxes and either responding to emails or forwarding them to the relevant people; manning the reception doors as required, ensuring pupils are accompanied before leaving the school.
- Supporting staff and SLT in contacting parents/carers throughout the school day as needed.
- Visitors: greeting visitors, offering refreshments and making sure they sign in; checking and recording ID; issuing Visitor badges and making sure they are returned; ensuring staff escort visitors and contractors around the school.
- Working with the school SENCO to manage and administer the student review calendar.
- Liaising with Local Authorities, Social Care, medical teams, CAMHs and External therapists in preparation for student reviews.
- Holding responsibility for paperwork for reviews, sending paperwork before meetings, taking minutes, collating paperwork following meetings and submitting to Local Authorities.
- Ensuring all student EHCP documentation is updated and stored appropriately.
