Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Understand, share and promote the school's vision, aims and ethos.
- Responsible for planning and delivering daily Forest School sessions, supported by the Assistant Head Teacher (PD Lead).
- Contribute positively by engaging with the wider community.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the department and support whole‑school events.
- Promote an inclusive culture, valuing diversity and all perspectives.
- Safeguard the welfare of children and young people, complying with the school's safeguarding policy and all other policies.
- Hold a Forest School qualification.
- Be creative, fun, and able to build positive relationships and inspire students.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Understand statutory and regulatory guidelines related to outdoor learning.
- Encourage all students to participate in forest school activities by being adaptable and supportive.

- Plan age‑appropriate outdoor activities, including games and crafts.
- Maintain accurate records for external qualifications, assessments, and planning cycles.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
